INTELLIGENT TRANSPORTATION & TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT CENTER PROJECTS

We have an extensive background in the ITS area, having designed more than 200 traffic signals, seven signal master systems, video detection hardware at more than 460 intersections, timing and progression of signal systems in three communities, and the design of two traffic operations centers. We have designed and built a Freeway Management System for Interstate-25 and Highway 24, a city-wide AVL system with automated signal pre-empt capabilities, a 200 mile fiber optic system, state-of-the-art signal master hardware and software, two data radio systems, a 2.4 GHz system interconnecting 500 traffic signals and a 900 MHz system for AVL emergency responders.

Members of our team have built a radiological detection sensor network integrated with the traffic signal communication system, developed an in-house IP based ATMS system, arterial incident management systems, and a next generation intersection control software package to replace existing 170 firmware. We have also written software for integrating and controlling variable message signs, cameras, radar sensors, and video-detection systems.

We've produced web and desktop interfaces for command-and-control. We've installed and maintained video streaming origin and edge servers, public dissemination systems for cable television, internet, and phone. The scope of our work also includes data management, database management, and data collection.
